Final Summer Camp Session for 2011

Today is the last blog I will be writing during Summer Camp at Circle F Dude Ranch next Tuesday is the last day campers will be here. The bittersweet feelings we all must have seem overwhelming at the moment.

The summer has been speeding by and I can’t believe most of the counselors will be leaving along with the campers next week.

Sherry and the rest of us who are here year round are already talking about how great it was working with Logan and the rest of the wranglers this summer. Happily some of them are here for “Family Weekends  & Group Weekends” which I have started calling Camp for “Families” so Mom and Dad can experience some of the fun each camper has enjoyed this summer. Imagine Paul has decided to keep “The Wibit” in the water for the first weekend so Mom and Dad can enjoy the “Funtastic” experience all of you Circle F Dude Ranch Summer Campers have had jumping and climbing “The Wibit”. Of course everything else is still being offered along with great food and a chance to spend quality time with family and friends.

But we still have lots of fun and activities left here so make sure Mom and Dad go to the website www.circlefduderanchcamp.com and click the link halfway down the page that takes them to Shutterfly and shows them the wonderful photos being taken by Holly, Brent and all the photo campers this season.

Now I am ready to tell you about an event that happened Sunday afternoon that while it was a beautiful sight it took effort by everyone involved to correct the problem. On Sunday when the new campers arrive the horses are always by the front gate to meet and greet the families well one of the gates got pushed open Sunday around 6:00pm. About 12 horses got out! As I watched them start across the field I couldn’t help but enjoy the moment. The beauty and freedom they seemed to know was happening was amazing. Along with the light from the setting sun sending rays across the lake only added to the moment. The buckskin led the way but within moments Logan was there with the feed cart and all the horses started following him back to the barn. Paul and Mia were right there directing each horse into a stall.

Then Paul went in and led them back to where they belonged.

So that’s just a bit of what’s happening here at Circle F Dude Ranch Summer Camp.

But remember there is lots of fun that can be created by you and your family this fall.

So call the office and get more information # 863-676-4113 everyone is ready to help!

See Ya Jessie!
