Hello all my Circle F friends and family!
We are so busy getting ready for you! We have hired all the counselors and are very excited about camp starting. Murray is Program Director this summer and is working right this very minute on new and exciting activities for you. Any ideas for him? We love your input. We have returning counselors and many new ones, too. I can't wait for them to meet the best campers in the whole wide world!!! I've told them how "FANTASTIC" you all are. Anyway, do well in school, work hard and always do your best. I can't wait to see all of you again. Bo says "hi" and he can't wait to see you, too!

More Pictures of Snickers Baby

Howdy,

Here are some more new pictures of Snickers, her Baby, Roger and Foxy the dog. The baby is doing great. He is running all over the place and becoming more independent. We have been getting a lot of great name ideas. Check back soon to find out what we name him.

Summer camp is just right around the corner and we have hired our entire summer staff. We have counselors coming from all over the country including Utah, New York, Ohio, and Virginia. Steven Murray, the Program Director, has arrived at camp and is already working on new program ideas. If you have any ideas for a dance theme or an evening program let us know. We will be posting each sessions dance themes on the blog so you can bring dress up clothes.

Snickers had her Baby!!!!!

Howdy Circle F Family,

We have some very exciting news. Snickers had her baby. It is a brown and black colt with a white star on here forehead that looks like a heart. The baby was born around 7pm on a Tuesday. Cindy and Suzi, the barn staff, checked in on Snickers before they left at around 6:30 and there was no sign of the baby. When I went over to check in on her at 8:00 the baby was born. He was already walking around, or at least trying to. He is now able to run around with her mother. The baby is super nice and has let all of get up close to him. He even let me pet his head.

We are sending out a birth announcement which is asking everyone to come to the blog and submit a name for the new baby. If you think if a name please post it.

Summer is Only 3 Months Away!!!

Hello Circle F Family,

Can you believe that Summer Camp starts in only about 3 months. It is so great to see that so many of you have already registered. Diana and IRoger have been working hard to make summer camp 2008 fantastically great!!! We went to the American Camping Association National Convention and came back with a ton of great ideas. We have some new evening program ideas that we can't wait to surprise you with.

Some other great news is that Snickers (the horse) is pregnant. She is due anytime. Anyone have any good name ideas?

Circle F Has Entered the 21st Century - Online Registration is Here

Howdy Everybody,

Things here at the Ranch are great. We have been busy every weekend with groups who love to spend their time here at Circle F. The next two weekends we will see over 40 families for our Winter Fantastic Family Weekends. Thanksgiving has been sold out for months, but, we still have limited space for our Nov. 30 - Dec. 2 Family Weekend.

Along with running Fantastic Programs we have been working overtime getting ready for Summer Camp which starts in just 200 days!!! We are proud to announce an easier way to register for summer camp: online registration. The site has been online for a week now and we have been getting a tremendous response. To register online please visit the website www.circle-f-duderanch.com and click on the link in the bottom right hand side of the page. Remember, if you register before January 31 you receive a 5% discount. Also, last year we sold out first and second session early so don't wait last minuet. We only need a $500 deposit to reserve your spot for another Fantastic Summer.

The Year Books are Coming, The Yearbooks are Coming!!!

Howdy All,

We wanted to send a message to y'all that the 2007 yearbooks will soon be in the mail. We have been working hard to make this yearbook the most Fantastic yearbook ever.

A big thank you goes out to all who helped make it possible. We would also like to thank Head Counselor Chelsea for all she did to make this year book so great.

Along with the yearbook is the "Circle F Questioner." Please help us make camp even more Fantastic by filling out the survey and returning it to us.

Fantastic Summer

Summer 2007 was Fantastic with a capital F. We laughed, played, ran, swam, rode, ate, climbed, sang, and so much more. Old traditions were re-lived, while new traditions were born. It was truly a summer to be remembered.

We would like to thank our campers for making summer 2007 the biggest and best summer in Circle F history.

As Summer 2007 ends, the preparation for Summer 2008 begins. It promises to be another Fantastic adventure. Be sure to keep an eye out for our brochure which will come out in September or October.

Staff Picture

Here is the first official picture of your 2007 summer camp staff! We are less than 24 hours away from the start of Opening Day and everything is just about ready to go. As you can see from this shot, everyone's having a fantastic time. We can't wait to see you!

We're ready and waiting!

All the counselors are here and waiting eagerly for the arrival of all the campers this Sunday. We're having the hayrides back at marshmallow point, so be thinking of some good campfire stories for this summer. The blob is ready and so are all the horses so get into summer mode and don't forget to drink water and wear sunscreen! Registration on opening day is from 9-2 so don't keep me waiting. Circle F family updates!

WOW..lots of action for some of our multiple year campers!!!

I was watching the Today show on Monday about 7:30, they were doing a segment on the cruise ship in the Greek Islands that sank. How shocked do you think I was to see one of our longtime campers giving a comment! Claire C. was on her senior spring break with her school. She is home safe. Thank goodness!!

Jesse G. is going to be deployed to Iraq on Tuesday, May 1st. Let's all keep him in our thoughts and prayers! We love you, Jesse!

Summer Update

Hey guys,

Hope that you are all doing well. We are really busy here in the office. Roger arrived almost 2 weeks ago and he is doing great. Two days after he, his wife Emily and their dog Foxy pulled into camp we had our first Open House. There were close to 30 families that came to take a look at camp before deciding to sign up for a session. Chelsea and Lisa (Chisa to some of you) also led some of the tours around the ranch. We all thought it went really well and look forward to doing it again next year.

Also wanted to let you know of some other counselors that have said they are coming back: Paisley, Brian and Matt B. should all be back at the wall, Shannon will be in arts & crafts and Alex K. has decided to leave dance/tumbling/cheer behind for general sports. Diana, Roger and I have also had the chance to interview some brand new counselors. We met up with Ashley G. last Monday and she is going to be working at the barn in English riding.

BRRRRRR!!!!

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all stayed warm over the weekend. I worked at the ranch and you can't believe how cold it was there. On Sunday morning the groups went horseback riding and the horses were very frisky. It was cold and windy and they were ready to go! I had on a t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, fleece lined jacket, gloves and a hat and was still cold with the wind. It made me miss the summer, wearing shorts and flip-flops.
Roger is arriving this week! More on that in the next blog.

Registrations

Hi Circle F family,
Registrations are arriving daily. So many that I am getting very excited about summer. It looks like it is going to be fantastic. So far, there are a lot of new campers as well as many returners. The early registration discount ends on Wednesday, January 31, so if yours isn't in the mail...hurry!!! Anyway, being so busy has me in need of a vacation. So...I am taking the week of January 29th off(it's my birthday...no I'm not telling you which one..lol). In the words of one of our counselors...WHEEEEEEEEEE! If you know which counselor post it in a comment. Jay will be in the office and covering the group at the ranch next weekend. I will be excited to return and see how many more of you are returning for summer. You are the reason I continue to stay at Circle F year after year. Love all of you! Diana

Happy New Year!

Hey everybody,

Hope that you got to spend the holidays with your friends and family. Diana got to spend time with family and her son Adam came home for New Year's weekend. I went home to Tampa and got to visit with my dad and a bunch of friends from high school.

We have been receiving registrations for camp, which is exciting. We've also been talking to counselors about coming back. So far we know that Reiss, Mia, Jamie F., Chelsea R., Carla and Sarah are going to be back this summer. Chelsea S. is graduating from UF in May and is going to come back as the girl's head counselor. We should know more about other counselors soon.

Hopefully you got a postcard from us in the mail with the above picture. Remember if you sign up for camp before the end of January you will receive 5% off tuition.

Lunch with the ranch staff

Hi Circle F family,
Jay and I went to the ranch yesterday to take Cindy, Sherri, Denielle and Alan out for a holiday lunch. We had a great time together. We don't get to hang out very often and just talk.
