Spring Break's New Foal

A week of fun and excitement has finally come to an end.  We Blobbed, we Rode and we HAD A BLAST! If you weren’t here then you definitely missed out.  By far this was the best Spring Break Camp we have ever had; the weather was perfect and the activities were rockin’.   The food was even better than ever, chicken fajitas, baked ziti, fried chicken, pancakes, and the list goes on.  Everyone has already said that they are coming back for Summer Camp.  This means that Camp is getting dangerously close to being full, so you better sign up or you might miss out on the improved skatepark, new paintball guns, more horses and so much more that is happening here at the Ranch.

Spring Break Camp did end on a very special note.  Girl’s new foal was born during the night and is already up and walking, even running around the pasture area.  The new foal will not show her true colors for awhile but at the moment she is beige with black legs and a white nuzzle.  Our horse vet has already come to check Girl and the new foal, potentially to be named Kiki.   Summer and Lily, our two new horses formerly known as Double Space and Not-Now , have been going on the trail rides and are working out great, fitting right in with the other horses at Circle F.

If you haven’t made it to see Kris, Ashley or I at one of the many camp fairs they are doing then make sure that you come to one; the next one will be March 26th-27th  in Daytona Beach at the Palm Coast Expo Center and March 26th in Tampa Bay area at the WestShore Plaza.

So come out and say HI! if you’re in the area.  Don’t forget about the Family Weekends coming up, April 22-24, May 6-8 and May 27-29, a great chance to bring your folks and show them just how much fun you have during the summer.  There will be a Women’s Weekend happening April 15-17, for those ladies who want to get away, recharge and have a blast.  And if you aren’t following us on Facebook then make sure you go check out what Ashley has going on, pictures are being added almost daily.

Talk to ya soon,

Girl Welcomes Her New Baby to the Camp!

Congratulations to our proud new mother "Girl" on the birth of the new baby boy foal on Friday morning. Born on a full moon - he has a white marking in the shape of a hook on the side of his face and he was up and galloping within a couple of hours of his birth! The proud new mother was comfortable enough to let Paul hold the newborn within hours of his birth. We are now deciding what to name him - have you voted yet? Hurry and vote now (below)

Spring Break Camp

WHAT A BLAST! If you're not here then you're missing out.  We have been rockin' 'n' rollin' on the summit, launching down the zip-line, galloping around on the horses and shooting paint everywhere.  Jarred, Chris, Megan, Blake, Brandon, Melissa, Sarah, Heather, Patrick and Shelby are running the activities at the ranch with Kris, Ashley and Daniel.  The campers couldn't have bigger smiles with this perfect weather and even better activities, and we had chicken fajitas tonight.  The only problem with Spring Break Camp is that it's only a week but that's why everyone is coming back for the Summer!

Speaking of Summer Camp, you better be signed up by now, spots are really starting to fill up!

We still do not have a name for her new foal, the voting on the blog is showing its about half-and-half for Kiki so we need names.  Come on, this is your chance to leave your personal impression forever on Circle F.  We need girls and boys names so jump-to-it, no pun intended!

Our New Foal Will Soon be Here!

It's Raining, It's Pouring

We are finally getting some rain here at the Ranch. We have been needing the rain and finally we are getting it, maybe even to much. Fortunately the rain held off for the 270 fathers and daughters here from the Indian Princess of Iroquois Nation of Fort Lauderdale. They did some amazing things here, besides riding and climbing. Their final night ceremony was one that few who witnessed it will ever forget, especially the girls who broke their arrow for their final campfire. We hope to see many of these families back in the fall for their second camp-out and tribal meeting. Thank you again to Chief, Greg Martin, and Medicine Man, Robert Nava, for everything they did with the weekend and all of their help.
Camp is ready; new basketballs, footballs, volleyballs, bows, arrows, arts and crafts supplies, and much more are arriving daily for Spring Break and Summer Camp. And don't worry if you have not signed up for spring break camp, March 13th-18th, there is still room. Gulf Coast Family Magazine will be coming out at that time to do a spread on us in their upcoming April issue, so be sure to pick one up. Hopefully Girl will have had her foal by the time Spring Break Camp starts, she looks like she might pop any day.
Remember, if you aren't signed up for Spring Break Camp or Summer Camp get signed up, we are filling up fast!

Gearing up for summer!!!

Here at the ranch we are gearing up for summer camp. The lake is warming up and the Summit is already out. Kids from our weekend groups are already begging to enjoy the vestiges of Spring here at Circle F. The pops, clicks and splats near the lake are also evident that the new supply of paintball guns are running smoothly. And laughter can be heard from the basketball courts every weekend as the new basketball goals are tested.
Horse activity is begging to rev up too. Lela, is now running around with the rest of the herd, growing bigger and stronger everyday. Girl is now on the edge of birthing a new foal to add to our stables, and we just recently added two new horses to our stables; Lily(Double Space), who has won money at Belmont Stakes, and Summer(formerly Not-Now)(photos to come soon to Facebook). What are your thoughts on the naming of our new foal? Kris is pushing for it to be named KiKi after himself, of course. Please save us from this travesty.
